Eryvalen began on a quiet drive home from the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, back to the hills of rural West Virginia — the place we called home. It was during that trip, with our newborn daughter Driscoll asleep in the back seat, that an idea we had talked about for years finally took shape.

At the time, Kelly was deep in her third year of medical school, and Tyler had spent four years working full-time as an engineer . But for as long as Tyler could remember, he had wanted to build something of his own — something that reflected the same dedication and purpose that defined the rest of our lives.

Through college and beyond, running had always been our constant — the shared pursuit that shaped who we are. It’s where we’ve learned discipline, resilience, and experienced so much joy. On that drive home, we realized the path forward was right in front of us: to build a brand that embodied what luxury athletic wear meant to us.

That conversation became the beginning of Eryvalen — a style-driven luxury performance apparel brand built from our love for the sport that has carried us through more than the last decade of our lives.
